Uptown 6 October Real Estate Development Starts expansions in Uptown City Project

Uptown 6 October Real Estate Development reveals its new expansion plan based on the development of land plots of its project, starting with Uptown Quattro compound, Invest-Gate reports.

Uptown Quattro is one of the most important integrated smart real estate projects in 6 October City, and that is based on the principle of maximizing the benefit for both the customers and the company through providing real estate products and services with professionalism, credibility, and designs.

Uptown project is built on an area of 14 mn sqm, in which the company launched the first phase of its projects represented in the “Uptown Quattro” mini compound with an investment of EGP 500 mn, and it consists of 4 buildings of 2500 sqm with a total area of each building 1080 sqm, varying between villas consisting of ground and two floors. The total number of units is 24 housing units with different areas starting from 150 sqm.

Uptown 6 October Real Estate Development announces that the consortium of Orascom Construction, Hassan Allam Construction, and Elsewedy Electric Group completes 97% of the utility works of the Uptown 6 October project, Invest-Gate reports.

Chairman of Uptown 6 October Real Estate Development, Ahmed Abu Zaid, reveals during a general meeting of project owners and investors that the company sets a new pricing plan that aims to offer land directly to individuals and corporates at flexible installment systems.

Uptown 6 October is situated on 14 mn sqm, Abu Zaid notes, adding that the company launches the first phase of its mini compound “Uptown Quattro” in the mega project with EGP 500 mn in investments.

The top executive says that the first phase of Uptown Quattro includes four houses each consisting of a ground and two floors, and that the phase is slated for delivery in 2024.

He reveals that the company announced its new investment plan that will be applied in the services sector in the coming period, including building an international school, administrative and shopping malls, a social and sports club, and worship houses.

Abu Zaid states that an agreement is made with a major gas and oil company to build fuel and charging stations.

Egypt’s Uptown 6 October Development begins construction of Building Mall

Egypt’s Uptown 6th of October Development Company announced on Monday the start of construction of Building Mall dedicated to building fitout and finishing materials.

The mall, located in the uptown area of 6th of October city, is being developed at a total investment of 300 million Egyptian pounds ($9.7 million), company chairman Ahmed Abu Zaid told Zawya Projects.

He said the five-storey project would be completed in two phases, and features 70 stores, 20 offices, warehouses, a food and beverage area and basement car parking. Facilify has been appointed as the mall operator.

Zaid said the company is in the process of establishing an online store for building and finishing materials with express delivery service and buy now and pay later facility.

Uptown 6 October Reveals Plans for the Largest Commercial Hub in New 6th of October City

Uptown 6 October, in the launch of its flagship commercial project, has announced the development of 16 commercial and administrative land plots out of the 24 plots allocated to the company by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Invest-Gate reports.

These plots cover a total built-up area of 70,000 sqm in the Uptown district of New 6th of October City, as part of the company’s expansion and development plans following the approval of the allocation by the authority.

Ahmed Abozaid, Chairman of Uptown 6 October, stated that these plots are integral to the company’s project aimed at enhancing services and developing the Uptown district in New 6th of October City, thereby accelerating urbanization in the city. He highlighted that the commercial and administrative center is situated on North 90th Street, boasting a 320-m frontage and located only 2 km away from the main monorail station. This strategic location positions the center as a significant hub within the city.

Abozaid further added, “The company intends to utilize these plots, covering a total built-up area of 70,000 sqm, to establish and construct one of the largest commercial and administrative centers in New 6th of October City.” He expects this new center to play a pivotal role in supporting Uptown 6 October district projects, thereby contributing to the development of the promising New 6th of October City, which spans 70,000 feddans.

Abozaid emphasized the company’s pride in the confidence bestowed upon them by the NUCA through the allocation of these lands. He pledged to transform them into vital hubs that enhance development and living standards in this emerging city. New 6th of October City is one of the fourth-generation cities that the state is propelling towards the future.

Abozaid highlighted that the establishment of this project reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing essential service projects that support urban and economic development in the region. Regarding the projected workforce for the mall project, Abozaid noted that the total number of job opportunities for the construction and operation of the project will reach 8,000. This includes 3,000 permanent direct and indirect jobs, as well as 5,000 construction workers.
